Honey-Mustard Air Fryer Pork Chops

Made with just four ingredients, not counting salt and olive oil spray, these easy Honey-Mustard Pork Chops come out juicy on the inside and so flavorful! The longer they marinade, the tastier they are. I marinated mine overnight, which was perfect. You can also bake them in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer. If you love honey mustard, make some extra for dipping, but if you’re not a honey- mustard fan, try my juicy air fryer pork chops or garlic-lime pork chops. Not a fan of pork? Air Fryer Honey Mustard Pork Chops

Honey-Mustard Pork Chop Ingredients

  • Pork: Trim the fat off of four boneless pork chops.
  • Salt: Season both sides of the pork with half a teaspoon of kosher salt.
  • Honey-Mustard Marinade: Combine Dijon and honey and marinate the pork chops for at least four hours or up to overnight.
  • Panko: Use seasoned or gluten-free panko for a crispy coating.

How long does it take to cook pork chops in the air fryer?

  • Remove the meat from the marinade and press them into the panko.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil, add the chops, and spritz the tops with oil.
  • Air fry the pork at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway and spritzing the other sides with oil.

How to Bake Pork Chops

If you bake your pork chops, the breading won’t be as crispy, but if you don’t have an air fryer, no worries. Bake the pork at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes.

What to Serve with Pork Chops

These healthy honey-mustard pork chops work great with so many side dishes. Here are some ideas:

How to Freeze Pork Chops

Cooked pork chops will stay good in the refrigerator for up to four days, or you can freeze them for three months. Reheat them in the air fryer so the breading doesn’t get soggy.

Variations

  • Meat: If you don’t eat pork, try this recipe with chicken tenders.
  • Breading: Breadcrumbs will work in a pinch if you don’t have panko, but panko will deliver the crispiest results.

  5. I’ve made these twice now and they are delicious! My new favorite way to do pork chops. So much tastier than shake and bake. I’ll never go back.

  6. Delicious!! The whole family approved 👍🏼🙌🏼 easy prep and definitely a regular now on the weekday nights!

  9. This recipe was excellent! My husband and I couldn’t believe how great they tasted. So simple and flavorful. Making them again tomorrow.

  10. Another winner! So quick and easy to put together but soooooo delicious. Perfect with a side of roasted veggies to make a meal.

  11. These were perfect for an easy week night meal. Simple, delicious and few ingredients. Served with ST roasted brussels sprouts and shallots with balsamic glaze.

  12. Yum! This was very easy and very tasty, and pretty much grown up “shake and bake”. I used a bone-in pork chop and 15 minutes was the perfect amount of time.

Really flavourful! I only had plain Panko crumbs so added salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the mix. Served with green beans and baked sweet potatoes. Great and quick supper to put together.

  14. Yummy! I use pork tenderloin when making a pork chop recipes and just slice it in 3/4 – 1 inch rounds. Served with sauteed brussels sprouts finished off with white balsamic vinegar to compliment the pork. I had no problem with the panko. Be sure you don’t shake any off. Just pull it out of your marinating bag/dish and right into the panko.

  15. Excellent and easy recipe. A hit in our home. Wish I could figure out a way to keep all the coating on the chops … unfortunately, about 25% was left in the air fryer basket. Other than that, no complaints

    1. This happened to me as well. Came here looking for a solution. Still delicious but would be more so with the coating.

  16. Made these last night. I don’t have an air fryer so I baked them in the oven. Turned out great! From the husband to the kids, everyone enjoyed them!
Thank you for another great dinner idea!

  17. i don’t have any panko but do have regular breadcrumbs & seasoned breadcrumbs. will it make a big difference?

  18. I don’t understand the marinade. Do I cover the pork chops with the honey mustard combination?

  19. Can I use honey mustard that comes from the store? Instead of making it with the Dijon mustard and honey.

Wondering if I can use crushed plantain chips for a gluten free panko substitute? I have had a hard time finding GF panko near me. Thanks!

      1. I dunno if I’m losing it but I can’t find the variation for bone in? I’ve read it more times than I’d like to admit

Hi Gina, this recipe sounds good. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I only have plain panko crumbs. What seasoning can I add to it to make it seasoned panko crumbs?
