Managing Your Carb Count

One of the most difficult parts of maintaining a low carb diet is knowing exactly where your carbs are coming from and how many you are consuming throughout the day.  There are numerous web sites and mobile phone apps that you can load food into and they will count the carbs for you.  If you focus on the largest part of your meal being protein and then filling out your plate with vegetables and a small amount of fat like butter or cheese you should do pretty well.  The picture below is a nice example of how your portion ratios should look.
